Increase your sweater skills as you knit this lightweight sweater in yarn reminiscent of Stonehedge Crazy.
Class is 6 sessions, with knitting weeks figured into the schedule.
This class will include instruction on no measuring tape knitting, improved neck bind off, smooth sloped bind off, 3-needle bind off, and seaming.
FINE PRINT:
Pre-work (REQUIRED): Make, wash and dry gauge swatch. Cast on 39 stitches; knit 40 rows in stockinette stitch, then work 28 rows of pattern stitch (see pattern). Bind off loosely. Soak in tepid water for 20-30 minutes, squeeze out excess water and lay flat to dry. Bring swatch to first class.
Skills Needed: cast on, knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog/ssk, bind off, pattern reading. Must be able to keep up with homework knitting.

Yarn: Berroco Carousel (Yarn is set to be shipped to the store on September 1, 2023.)
Yardage: 1672-2926 yards. See pattern for yardage requirements.
Gauge: 24 sts and 35 rows to 4" in stockinette stitch worked flat using larger needles.
Needles: US 3 (3.25 mm) and US 5 (3.75 mm) 16” and 32” long circular needles, size US 3 32” or longer circular needle, size US 5, plus spare needle for 3-needle bind off
Other tools: rigid ruler (not a tape measure), calculator, writing implement, removable stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle, scrap yarn for holding stitches, scissors
